Ross is licensed to practice in California and all its federal courts. Starting his career in 1986 at a southern California litigation boutique firm, Ross cut his (legal) teeth squaring off against national and global law firms in high-stakes litigation. 

Ross moved to northern California in 1990, becoming name partner in a full-service firm providing representation to diverse clients in sectors such as food manufacturing, telecom, software, agriculture, wine, cannabis, and real estate, along with personal representation of owners and executives. After 32 years with his former firm, Ross now practices independently, providing the same high-quality representation on a one-on-one basis.

Ross' 35+ years of experience means he can meet client needs across the entire spectrum of business law--from entity formation and transactions, employment, IP, real estate and M & A transactions. And while lawsuits are rarely a good solution, Ross is a tenacious advocate who is not afraid to try a case. Ross has represented clients in cases resulting in published court opinions in areas such as federal trademark litigation and investor fraud.

Outside his practice, Ross devotes time to the local community; he has served as Chair of the local Parks and Recreation Commission, President of his Rotary Club, and board member of numerous non-profit organizations. Ross' outside interests also include travel, music (he plays guitar and bass in several ensembles), and he spent ten years as senior editor for a home theater publication.
